Straight answers

My order is late. What now?

Call us on (408) 555-0100. A person answers between 8am and 11pm and can see your order, call the restaurant and the driver, and refund you on the spot. We do not run a ticket queue — at our size a human is faster and better.

Something in my order was wrong or missing.

Call us and we will refund the affected items immediately, without asking you to send photographs. If it was a customisation the kitchen missed, tell us — modifier accuracy is the thing we are actually building, and we track it per restaurant.

When am I charged?

Your card is authorised when you place the order and charged when the restaurant accepts it. If they do not accept within 30 minutes the authorisation is voided automatically and you are not charged at all.

Can I cancel?

Before the restaurant accepts, yes, in full. After they have started cooking we will refund what we reasonably can — call us and we will be straight with you about it.

Why does the site push pickup so much?

Because for phở, bún bò Huế and bánh xèo it is better food, and we would rather you enjoy it. It is also cheaper for you and better for the restaurant. We earn less on pickup, which is precisely why you can trust the recommendation.

How do the dietary labels work?

A dish labelled 'Vegetarian' is vegetarian as configured. 'Can be made vegetarian' means changing an option gets you there, and the option that does it is marked. We label 'no gluten ingredients' rather than 'gluten-free' because kitchens do not control cross-contamination. We never infer vegan status — fish sauce and shrimp paste are recorded per dish by the restaurant, and shown.

Why is there no halal label anywhere?

Halal is a certification, not an ingredient. We only show it where we hold a certification reference on the restaurant's record, and right now none of our restaurants have supplied one. A false halal label is the most damaging mistake this platform could make, so we would rather show nothing.

Do you have an app?

No, and not yet on purpose. The site works as a home-screen app on iOS and Android. We would rather spend the effort on getting orders right than on an install prompt.
