The same order picked up costs $37.15 — no delivery fee, no service fee. That is why pickup is a toggle at the top of every page rather than something buried in settings.
Tips go entirely to whoever brings you the food
The driver on a delivery, the restaurant on a pickup or an own-driver delivery. Beply takes nothing from a tip, and you can change it after the food arrives.
What the restaurant pays
15% commission on the food subtotal. That is the whole arrangement — no listing fee, no monthly minimum, no exclusivity clause, and no charge for the photography or the bilingual menu writing we do when a restaurant joins. On a $34 order the restaurant keeps $28.90.
We tell you this because the number is the point. A restaurant paying 30% either raises its prices or stops caring about the orders, and you can taste both.
Things we will not do
- Reveal a fee after you have entered your card.
- Mark up a restaurant's menu prices without saying so.
- Take a cut of a tip.
- Sell placement in search results or on the homepage.
- Show you a countdown timer, a fake 'only 3 left', or a badge we made up.
- Charge you before the kitchen has accepted your order.
Things we do
- Show the all-in total on the first restaurant card you ever see.
- Itemise every line in your bag, before checkout.
- Put the total in the button you press.
- Publish a support phone number that a person answers.
- Tell you when a dish does not travel well, even though pickup earns us less.
Figures on this page are the design concept’s illustrative rates. Tax is calculated at checkout from the delivery address, not estimated from a flat percentage.
